## What does nylas deliverability tracking-events message do?

The nylas deliverability tracking-events message command shows open and click totals for one message, clicks per link, and the newest 100 interactions. It covers only messages sent from an Agent Account or through Transactional send; messages from connected grants such as Google or Microsoft accounts are not included. Only messages sent with open or link tracking turned on have tracking events. Totals count every interaction, not only the 100 shown.

## Usage

```bash
nylas deliverability tracking-events message <message-id> [--json]
```

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| --json | Output as JSON |
| --no-color | Disable color output |
| --verbose(-v) | Enable verbose output |
| --config | Custom config file path |
| --help(-h) | Show help for the command |
| --limit | Limit results (most list commands) |
| --yes(-y) | Skip confirmations |

## Examples

The nylas deliverability tracking-events message command shows open and click totals for one message, clicks per link, and the newest 100 interactions.

### Opens and clicks for one message

```bash
nylas deliverability tracking-events message "<abc@mail.example.com>"
```

## Troubleshooting

### Message ID with angle brackets fails or matches nothing

For a Transactional send the message ID is the Message-ID header, angle brackets included. Quote it in the shell, for example "<abc@mail.example.com>". The CLI percent-encodes it for the API.

### No tracking events for a message

Tracking events exist only when the message was sent from an Agent Account or through Transactional send with open or link tracking turned on. Messages from connected Google or Microsoft grants are not included.
